Welcome to the exciting world of film production! After the success of the past two years of film festival in Swale and the Swale Film Awards, we are pleased to announce that the dates of the 2010 festival will be 23rd, 24th 25th & 26th September. The Film Awards will be presented on Saturday 25th.
We have great pleasure to also announce that we are now screening films EVERY MONTH at the Avenue Theatre.

Our Mission
Statement is…

To introduce the people of Swale to view a selection
of old and new films, some that have been made in Kent.

To give young people of Swale the opportunity to meet filmmakers
and gain knowledge of the film and television industries.

To give young people the opportunity to make their own productions
that will be entered into the competition for the SWALE
FILM AWARD.

To give all age groups the opportunity to participate
in workshops, question and answer with professional filmmakers
and take part in hands on media workshops.
Swale Film Festival is non-profit making and is administered
by a committee
of ten including Chairman, secretary and treasurer and made up
of film and television professionals teaching staff and other local
supporters.
