Welcome to the exciting world of film production! Swale film festival was a three day event held within the Swale Festival on 10th 11th & 12th July 2008. Screenings were held at the Avenue Theatre and the Screen on Sheppey. There were also question and answer workshops and a competition for young filmmakers. For a full report click here.

Our Mission Statement is…

To introduce the people of Swale to view a selection of old and new films that have connections with Kent.
To give young people of Swale the opportunity to meet filmmakers and gain knowledge of the film and television industries.
To give young people the opportunity to make their own productions that will be entered into the competition for the SWALE FILM AWARD.
To give young and old the opportunity to participate in question and answer workshops with production professionals.

Swale Film Festival is non-profit making and is administered by a committee of ten including Chairman, secretary and treasurer and made up of film and television professionals teaching staff and other local supporters.
