Swale Mediation Service Film Competition

DVD/Video Competition for Young People aged 11 to 23 years
resident or studying in Swale

Swale Mediation Service is a community mediation service and has the opportunity to be involved in the Swale Film Festival taking place in July 2008.  The competition will form part of the Festival, help raise awareness of our mediation service and provide content for a future DVD.

Entries will be judged by an independent panel which will include a representative from our service.  Criteria for judging will include:

• Showing understanding of what mediation is

• Means of communicating to the audience the message of what mediation is

• Portraying the need for mediation

• Originality and creativity of approach

Representatives of the winners will have the opportunity to attend the Swale Film Festival Awards and join a group visit to Pinewood Studios.

Please note: all entries will become the property of Swale Mediation Service and may be used for future DVD compilations/films for publicity, training and awareness raising activities.
